Time is flying! And we love watching these girls grow. ❤️

We’ve had some girls leave, new ones join, and a few drop in when they can! And honestly, we love that our BFF Club can grow and change alongside them.

Every girl brings her own person

One of our favourite BFF Club moments happened when we simply opened the floor and said…

“What do YOU want to talk about?”

And the questions started coming.

We went deeper with the girls. We talked about what really happens in f

And some days you replay the whole day wondering if you said too much, yelled too quickly, or missed w

The tears over the wrong snack.
The attitude in the car.

Sometimes the behaviour we see is only the surface.

The attitude.
The tears.
The yelling.
The shutting down.
The “I don’t care.”
The meltdown over something that seems so small.

But underneath it might be:

🤍 overwhelm
🤍 anxiety

The sun is starting to set earlier, and the nights are getting darker. 🌙

But even though the days are shortening, there is still so much life happening in these moments.

There is something about the changing of seasons that reminds me that things

Back-to-school season comes with a lot of questions for our kids.

“How was school?”
“Did you behave?”
“Do you have homework?”
“What did you learn?”

And usually… we get:

“Good.”

That feeling when summer starts to slip away… ☀️🍎

There’s something about this time of year that feels a little bittersweet.

The slower mornings. The late nights. The beach days. The extra time together.

And then suddenly… sch

Of course we want to protect our kids. 💗

When they’re left out, disappointed, nervous, embarrassed or struggling, every part of us wants to make it better.

Call the parent.
Fix the problem.
Let them quit.
Speak for them.
Remove the discomfor

As I watched the kids playing outside the other day, I was reminded of the spaces where things didn’t quite tur

We teach kids how to tie their shoes, do their homework and remember their lunch… but somehow we expect them to just KNOW how to navigate friendships.

And friendships can be complicated — especially as kids get older.

This weekend Poli and I attended a BJJ tournament to support some friends and family. One thing (amongst MANY things) that I learned this weekend is that the conversations that happen BEFORE you step on the mats, and the conversations that follow AFT
